Joey Toboni

Founder and President of the Board

Joey Toboni is the founder and president of the Board of Directors for the Affordability Project. He conceived of the idea in order to give low and middle income individuals a path to affordable housing.

He is the managing partner of residential contracting firm, The Toboni Group - Residential and has built or reconstructed over 60 homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has more than ten years of experience in construction, land entitlement, construction finance and real estate development. Joey is the Big Brother to another Native San Franciscan who was born and raised in San Francisco's public housing. Joey and his wife continue to live in San Francisco with their four kids.

Tim Szarnicki

Executive Director

Since 2008, Tim built funding and resource partnerships and projects, valued at more than $100 million, which directly invested in San Francisco and Bay Area communities. Tim is a graduate of Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy
